"Mr Calvo worked as Web Designer for Ascot Racecourse between 22nd March 2004 and 31st December 2004. Unfortunately for us, he was on a fixed-term contract due to the closedown of the Racecourse for redevelopment. Davide's core responsibility was to design, develop, update and maintain the Ascot websites. This was done cheerfully and effectively, despite the pressures of the build-up to and execution of the Royal Meeting in June. Interestingly, our e-commerce increased by more than 40% year on year. This bears testament to the success of his work. Davide's grasp of the concept and rationalisation of the necessary steps were impressive. He worked closely with peers and internal customers to obtain buy-in. Davide also liased with outsourced agencies when additional programming capacity was required.
